Hi to all,

What a truly awesome mission you are on. I have enjoyed keeping up to date with all your activities. Please know that you are not only touching lives in New Orleans, but in many other places, as friends and relatives of you all are following what you are doing.

My hope and prayer for you is that you will be open to the lessons that God has for each one of you, that He has called to this week of service. As you go on through the coming days, in whatever you may do, that you would remember this time, and that it may impact your life.

Christy---Mimi and Grampy said that they have tried to get on the blog, but are unable to make the computer cooperate. But they are proud of you, and yes, please be careful! They can't wait to hear of your time in New Orleans.

See you all soon.

Kim (proud mom!)

FBC K1 Team,
I just wanted to thank you for sharing...your stories yes, but even more for sharing your lives. The theme that I see throughout your stories is "relationship". That is what God desires most of all. You are experiencing the hand of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit so continue to serve Him well so that others may come to a personal relationship with Him. You have already felt the life-change with several days left and have event "lent" to the Lord (Prov. 19:17), but keep in mind that this is just the beginning...there is a whole hurting world out there and you guys can continue to make an ETERNAL difference. Thank you.

Hey y'all (don't they say that down there?) Yes, I will pray for you to endure the heat!

We had an awesome time of fellowship and prayer Tuesday night at Sallie's. I made New Orleans jambalaya in your honor! (my first attempt) It was fun to talk with you on the cell speaker phone as a group. I'm pretty sure we covered all your prayer requests. What a privilege to be able to talk to our God about those we love! We are all so PROUD of you, and feel HUGELY blessed by what you're doing.

I have never been on the computer so much since you left, checking the blog about 20 times a day! [Of course Sarah's not here so it's possible! :) ] It is so wonderful to be updated with your thoughts and pictures. It makes it seem like you're not so far away...

Speaking of pictures, the one of Sarah and Colby came in handy. Emily had asked what "mudding" was, so I was able to show her, all over her sister's face! Sarah, she misses you TONS, as we all do. :) She has a countdown 'til your return on the whiteboard, and is planning on coming to the airport with us on Sunday night to greet you.

We can't wait to hear all your stories about your adventures this week, and about all the God moments. We prayed specifically for God to give you those moments, and for Him to open the eyes of your hearts.

We are praying for you daily, at the very least, and you are ever present on our minds.

We love and miss you all, especially you, Sarah Danica. :)

Much love, Sandy and David Krabbe

P.S. Has anyone discovered a new found desire to get into the construction business?!

Sorry, Scott, I think I sent my text twice!
